Privacy practices for accounts, syncs, and location data

Effective March 10, 2026. This policy describes the data MomentoSync collects, how it is used, and the controls available to users and creators.

What we collect

Account details, profile content, sync media, coarse location data, and operational telemetry needed to run the service.

We use your data to authenticate accounts, run sync unlock schedules, deliver notifications, enforce safety rules, and improve the product.

Locations are intentionally obfuscated on public surfaces, and media playback links are signed with short-lived URLs.

You can manage profile visibility, notification preferences, private zones, and deletion requests from within the product or by contacting support.

MomentoSync supports GDPR and CCPA baseline rights including access, deletion, and contact-based privacy requests.
